Tempo Smart Calendar has been updated to version 1.6, adding some useful new features. Tempo now has a Notification Center widget, interactive notifications, and support for ten new languages.
Tempo's new widget keeps you up to date with the day's appointments. It will show you the number of events, as well as which of your contacts are involved with them. Tap the '+' button in the widget to be taken to the event creation screen in Tempo itself.
Alerts and notifications in Tempo have some enhancements. Interactive notifications in Tempo allow you to take a number of actions right from an alert. You can dial into a conference call, check on the status of your flight, and get directions when an alert pops up. You can enable this feature by going into Tempo, then Alerts > Smart Alerts > Enable Action Alerts. The new Evening Alert prepares you in the evening for your events the following day.
Tempo has added support for ten new languages in this update. These are Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, and Russian.
