Appel’s release of iOS 13 today means third-party developers can now release apps that can access Siri without any configuration on your end. Before iOS 13, trying to use a non-Apple app with Siri required setting up a Siri Shortcut. Sometimes, even that wouldn’t work.

But now, iOS 13 users can finally tap into native Siri features, unlocking a number of useful possibilities. One situation in need of more hands-free options is when you’re driving and need to keep your eyes on the road. A few app makers have already released updates today that could make using Siri while driving a much better, and safer, experience.

iOS 13’s Swipe Keyboard is the other new feature people are loving

• The non-Dark Mode feature iOS 13 users are really loving is the new Swipe Keyboard.
• The new keyboard feature lets people swipe instead of typing.
• The feature is definitely not new, but now that it's available on iOS 13, people are really happy with it.

The long-missing feature is a hit with iOS 13 users.

Today Apple released iOS 13 to the public after months of beta testing. People can now download the latest iPhone software and test out all of its new features. We've already confirmed users love the new Dark Mode, but what other new feature in iOS 13 are people really digging?

The new Swipe Keyboard.

Swiping keyboards are not anything new. In fact, they've been around for years on Android and even through third-party iOS keyboards. But Apple refused to adopt the feature until it finally relented with iOS 13. People are very thankful for the change of heart.

Close behind Dark Mode, the Swipe Keyboard seems to be the other major new feature iOS 13 users are really gravitating towards. Many point out they can finally get rid of the third-party keyboard they've been using.

iOS 13's Voice Control is finally here

Voice Control is a great new Accessibility feature that makes it possible to control your Mac or iOS device with just your voice.

When it comes to electronics, it should be accessible for everyone, regardless of whatever handicap someone may have. Apple takes this seriously, and has introduced a new accessibility feature in both macOS, iOS, and iPadOS called Voice Control.

What is Voice Control?

Voice Control is a new Accessibility feature on the Mac, iPhone, and iPad devices (with macOS Catalina and iOS 13, respectively) that allows you to control your device entirely just with your voice. It's designed to help those who cannot operate traditional input devices get the most out of their computer, phone, or tablet.

Using Voice Control improves dictation with rich text editing features, and you can comprehensively interact with apps and navigate around through the use of labels next to clickable items or grids to exactly choose where you want to zoom in to or select or drag.

With Voice Control, you'll be able to do things like launch apps, select emoji, select options, send messages, make calls, and pretty much everything else, all with just your voice. It's all thanks to the system of labels and grids.

How do you use Voice Control?

Voice Control is activated through spoken cues. Everything on the screen that you can interact with will be labeled, and you tell Siri which one you want to pick or take action with. It can also be used to simulate actions like long presses, swipes, and gestures, just by telling Siri to do so.

Is it still private and secure?

Apple has always been very serious about user data and privacy. They stated in the keynote that your voice, when used with Voice Control, is processed on the device only (Siri speech recognition tech), and nothing is sent to or stored by Apple.
