Behold The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest in all its $350 toy spaceship glory
It might not be the coveted rocket-firing Boba Fett action figure, nor offer quite so many play possibilities as the $800 LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon.
But if you’re a fan of The Mandalorian, whose second season starts Friday, Hasbro’s $350 Razor Crest might just be the greatest Star Wars toy in a very long while. At 30 inches long, 20 inches wide and 10.5 inches tall, it’s a big enough to re-enact a whole bunch of the Disney+ show’s iconic scenes inside its cockpit and cargo hold — using standard 3.75-inch figures — and the entire ship is chock-full of details.
You’ll find a packed weapons locker, a carbonite freezing chamber and Baby Yoda’s hiding place inside, plus seventeen different panels you can remove to...

PSA: Your new iPhone 12 or 12 Pro might need contact tracing re-enabled
Getting a new phone is exciting, but it can also lead to spending an annoying amount of time adjusting settings, permissions and notifications for all your apps. Cloud backups are supposed to make this process easier, but they don’t always catch everything – for instance, you’ll want to double-check that COVID-19 exposure notifications are still enabled on your new iPhone 12 if you restored from a backup. They might not be, according to BBC News.
If you’re concerned you might be affected, you can re-enable exposure notifications in iOS by opening the Settings app, selecting Exposure Notifications, and clicking “Turn On Exposure Notifications.”
Users first noticed issues with the official National Health Service (NHS) contact tracing app...

ESR launches 'world's first' MagSafe compatible wireless car charging mount
The MagSafe accessories are starting to make their way into the light.
What you need to know
- ESR has launched the "world's first" MagSafe compatible wireless charging car mount.
- The mount will work with the iPhone 12 and MagSafe compatible cases.
- It is also launching a MagSafe compatible iPhone case.
ESR, maker of a range of popular Apple accessories, has launched the "world's first" MagSafe compatible wireless charging car mount. The HaloLock Magnetic Wireless Car Charger Mount will be compatible with Apple's new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, using either just the phone itself or with a MagSafe compatible case.
In addition to the car mount, ESR has also launched their own HaloLock™ iPhone case that is also MagSafe compatible.
HaloLock™ works seamlessly with MagSafe to make charging the iPhone 12 as easy as tapping it to the mount. Previous magnetic mounts required an additional magnetic plate on the back that interfered with wireless charging, whereas the ESR car mount, when paired with an official Apple MagSafe case or an ESR HaloLock™ case, combines the convenience of a magnetic mount and wireless charging into a single easy-to-use device.
ESR CEO Tim Wu says that the company saw an opportunity to bring wireless charging to even more users when Apple announced MagSafe at its "Hi, Speed" iPhone event.
"When we learned Apple was going to introduce MagSafe technology to the iPhone 12 lineup, we saw an opportunity to once again make life easier for our users. By turning this innovative technology into easy-to-use accessories, we're confident that HaloLock paired with MagSafe will be able to get even casual users to give wireless charging a try."
The company says that it plans to expand its HaloLock™ system to its entire lineup of iPhone cases over time.
You can preorder the HaloLock Magnetic Wireless Car Charger Mount for iPhone 12 for $39.99 directly through ESR's website. The company says that it will begin shipping the product in November.

Apps are getting more expensive in Brazil, Russia, India, and more
You might have to pay a little more for apps in some countries soon.
What you need to know
- Apple is raising the price of apps and in-app purchases due to tax and exchange rate changes.
- Countries affected include Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa.
- Developers can choose to honor the previous pricing for subscription customers.
Apple is increasing the price of apps and in-app purchases in Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa. The company announced the upcoming change in a news post on its Developer website, explaining that tax changes in the countries led to the change.
When taxes or foreign exchange rates change, we sometimes need to update prices on the App Store. In the next few days, prices of apps and in-app purchases (excluding auto-renewable subscriptions) on the App Store will increase in Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa. These increases also reflect the following tax changes:
- India: New equalization levy of 2% (in addition to the existing goods and services tax of 18%)
- Indonesia: New value-added tax of 10% for developers based outside of Indonesia
Prices of apps and in-app purchases (excluding auto-renewable subscriptions) will also be adjusted in Iceland and Albania to align with pricing used in other markets selling in U.S. dollars with value-added tax.
Apple goes on to say that developers will be able to adjust the prices of their apps accordingly due to the changes and that they can choose to keep subscriptions the same price for existing customers if they wish.
Once these changes go into effect, the Pricing and Availability section of My Apps will be updated, and your proceeds will be adjusted accordingly and calculated based on the tax-exclusive price. You can change the price of your apps and in-app purchases (including auto-renewable subscriptions) at any time in App Store Connect. If you offer subscriptions, you can choose to preserve prices for existing subscribers.
Developers can download the new price tier charts to see all of the new changes now.
