New evidence has emerged linking North Korea to the recent attacks on Sony, thanks to research conducted by the firm AlienLabs. Using samples of the code released by the FBI, labs director Jaime Blasco was able to track down a copy of the malware that had fallen into one of the company's malware honeypots and analyze the software for clues. According to the program's compiler metadata, the programs and resources that compose the malware were compiled between Novermber 22nd and 24th — just days before the attack hit Sony — and the computer that did the compiling was set up to display its text in Korean characters.
The next James Bond film will be titled Spectre and feature a cast that includes Christoph Waltz in a mysterious role and Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx.

Microsoft’s Xbox One console is getting a much-needed boost in the UK this week with the addition of the BBC’s iPlayer app. The popular service, launched seven years ago, allows Brits to watch shows like Doctor Who and Top Gear on demand shortly after they’re aired on BBC TV stations. Microsoft’s Xbox One console debuted in the UK last year, but lacked the BBC iPlayer app despite it launching on Sony’s PlayStation 4 console at launch. The Xbox One iPlayer app includes support for Kinect commands such as "Xbox, pause."
