Samsung is about to launch 'the most seductive TV of all time' at CES
Samsung is pulling absolutely no punches in hyping up its CES product lineup this year, but this is a level of bravado that exceeds even the typically wild levels the company is known for. Look beyond its the incredibly awkward S'UHD TV branding (which probably stands for Samsung Ultra HD) — the real news here is that Samsung believes it has literally made the "most seductive TV of all time." Features and specs are clearly secondary to this tease — Samsung wants to get our attention with the pure sex factor of a giant, curved 4K TV. We're still more than two days away from the official start of CES, but few things sum up the event more than this.

Apple, Please Make This iPod Classic Cover A Reality
Apple uncerimoniously killed off the iPod Classic a few months ago, and the internet, as it is wont to do, basically exploded with consumerist anger. Although the iPod Classic probably won't be coming back any time soon, this concept, if it were to become real, would make it all ok.

¡Kevin!

Netflix is cracking down on streamers who bypass region locks
Netflix in the United States is not the same as Netflix in the rest of the world. Thanks to the intricacies of international law, the streaming service offers very different content, and sometimes none at all, based on where a subscriber lives. Some savvy users have been using tools to get around that problem, but it appears the company may finally be putting its foot down.

This Website Could Be The Ultimate All-In-One Torrent Machine
As I recently discovered whilst trying to teach my roommate about torrenting — educationally, of course — downloading illegal stuff off the internet still isn't the easiest thing in the world. Bitport is a website that's trying to change all that: it will find, download, and stream your torrents to you, stupidly securely and easily, provided you pay for it.

2015 Resolution: Accept that Diseases Hop Borders, Don’t Dismiss Them, and Don’t Panic
In 2014, people over-reacted to Ebola crossing the world, and under-reacted to other diseases that travel. In 2015, we could do better.
