Congressman John Lewis meets with Tim Cook at Apple HQ

Georgia congressman John Lewis visited with Tim Cook at Apple's Cupertino headquarters earlier today. Lewis was in the area as part of a book tour for the second part of his graphic novel about the civil rights movement in the United States, titled "March: Book Two."

Cook tweeted about the visit earlier today, saying the following:

Cook and Lewis also spoke in a private meeting during the visit. While it's unknown what the two discussed, it most likely centered around diversity in the tech industry, similar to a meeting between Cook and Rev. Jesse Jackson that occurred late last year.

Trello gets a fresh design and adds sharing features in latest update

Popular task managing app Trello scored a pretty major update on iOS today. Version 2.7 brings a fresh new design, along with new features such as support for iOS 8's share menu, a new today widget, and Handoff support.

With the redesign, the folks behind Trello have brought a new layout and colors to the home screen, along with rounder corners for cards. Overall, the app looks a bit fresher without disrupting the experience that users know and love.

As far as features are concerned, the today widget brings the ability to view your tasks at a quick glance. In addition, users can even launch the camera, snap a photo, and have it added to a new Trello card straight from the widget.

Finally, the new sharing features and Handoff support should be familiar to iOS users by now. With the two, users will be able to share files and links to Trello from other apps, as well as pick up on their Mac right where they left off on their iPhone, or vice versa.
