Desde hace muchos años soy muy fan del arte urbano en forma de pintadas y similares, siempre que estén hechas en un sitio adecuado y sin vandalizar nada, así que me encanta el Street Art Project de Google.


Recoge este tipo de obras, a menudo efímeras, tanto para que queden conservadas para la posteridad, como para poder saber donde están y ayudarte a la hora de planificar tus viajes por el mundo adelante.


Se puede navegar usando un mapa, por artista, por colecciones, por galerías creadas por otros usuarios, etc, y si te gustan estas cosas, puedes pasarte un buen rato sin salir de tu navegador.

Una de las cosas que hace más atractiva la misión de Curiosity es la cantidad de imágenes que la NASA publica de esta, incluidos los selfies del rover.


Justin Maki explica en Curiosity Rover Report (June 13, 2013): Curiosity's Cameras vídeo cuantas cámaras lleva Curiosity –ni más ni menos que 17– y por unas son en color y otras no, así como la forma en la que el vehículo se hace los autorretratos.


Está en inglés, pero la opción de traducción automática de los subtítulos funciona razonablemente bien en este caso.


Recuerda, por cierto, que si quieres, puedes recibir fotos de Marte en tu móvil, casi como si viviéramos en el futuro.
