Minecraft con texturas ultrarrealistas

Un artista llamado HodiltoN está creando texturas ultrarrealistas para Minecraft, que pueden utilizarse con un motor de raytracing llamado SEUS que es todavía muy experimental, muy alfa pero bastante interesante. Los altos requerimientos hacen que funcione en unos ordenadores mejor que en otros –según su potencia gráfica– así que todo es cuestión de experimentar.

Sin necesidad de bajarse e instalar SEUS el vídeo permite hacerse una idea del resultado y de lo cálidas y agradables que resultan las construcciones de Minecraft con esas texturas: piedra, madera y colores acogedores en su mayor parte. Las antorchas siguen igual de pixeladas como puños, pero el resto se deja ver bastante bien, con bonitos juegos de luces y sombras.

Ambos artistas utilizan Patreon para subvencionar sus trabajos con donaciones, así que quienes sienta verdadera pasión o interés por esta forma de arte + programación y quiera aportar, ya sabe.
