San Francisco cracks down on apps auctioning public parking spaces

San Francisco is cracking down on apps that auction public parking spaces, with cease and desist letters sent to at least three startups. City attorney Dennis Herrera singled out MonkeyParking, saying its business model is "wholly premised on illegal actions."
