That red button on your remote that controls the interactive features on your Web-connected smart TV could soon prove to be a royal pain in the ass. A flaw that would allow malicious hackers to inject content into datastream on your smart TV has recently been discovered by Yossi Oren and Angelos Keromytis, researchers at the Columbia University Network Security Lab, and is being published in a paper at the USENIX Security Symposium in August.
