Study: Grindr, Tindr and Other Apps Share Sensitive Personal Data With Advertisers

Dating apps, including Grindr and OkCupid give sensitive information about users to marketing companies, according to a Norwegian study released Tuesday.

Researchers in Norway say the data-sharing appears to violate European data privacy laws. In the U.S., groups are asking state and federal regulators to investigate whether the practices are illegal.
