Typo 2 case for iPhone 6 now shipping, iPad case coming next year

The Typo 2 keyboard add-on accessory for the iPhone 5 and 5s that launched earlier this year now has a bigger brother made for the iPhone 6. The accessory is now on sale on Typo's website for $99, although the company is showing that new orders won't ship until December 15.

<!--break--?

The design of the new Typo 2 keyboard for the iPhone 6 model is supposed to be based on Apple's software keyboard for the phone. You may remember that the first version of the Typo was the subject of a lawsuit from BlackBerry, which claimed that the company used its trademark QWERTY keyboard design. In a new interview with Re/code, Typo's CEO Laurence Hallier would not comment on the ongoing legal case.

Re/code also reports that Typo is planning to launch a version of the Typo keyboard for the larger iPhone 6 Plus sometime in mid-2015. They are also developing a keyboard add-on for the iPad that will be released sometime in 2015 as well.

The Navy retrieved Orion from the ocean and is bringing it home to NASA

After its first launch attempt was delayed and eventually aborted last Thursday, NASA's Orion spacecraft finally left Earth on Friday for Exploration Flight Test 1 (EFT-1) before successfully splashing down in the Pacific Ocean. Despite the initial troubles, the capsule — which could eventually take humans to both an asteroid or the surface of Mars — passed this first major test with flying colors. Now the United States Navy, which was in charge of recovering the craft, has released this photo of Orion's journey back to land. It shows the capsule inside a flooded well deck of the USS Anchorage after it was towed in by four smaller boats on Friday afternoon some 600 miles off the coast of San Diego.

Transit App gives you more options with Uber partnership

Transit App has partnered with car service Uber for their latest update, bringing yet another transportation option to users. You can request an Uber, check journey times, and more.

Uber has been integrated directly into both the Nearby and Trip Planner views of Transit App. Just like with any other transit method, you'll be able to view a real-time ETA for Uber alongside public transit. You can check if Uber prices are surging, as well as total journey times, with your wait to be picked up factored in. You'll also get a fare estimation before you request a ride. Users new to Uber can get their first ride free up to $30, and you can even request a ride without downloading the Uber app.

Transit App 3.3.1 is available right now in the App Store.
