The Banner Saga, the acclaimed Viking-themed role playing game from developer Stoic Studio, is officially getting a sequel. The Banner Saga 2 was announced on Friday with a teaser trailer that offered little in the way of game information.
Stoic has yet to reveal a release date or platforms for the sequel, which was announced as part of the first annual Game Awards event in Las Vegas. However, since the original Banner Saga was launched on the Mac, iPhone and iPad, it seems likely that The Banner Saga 2 will also be launched for those platforms. In the meantime, check out the rather dramatic animated teaser trailer.
