After soft-launching in Canada earlier this month, Indiegogo has pushed its app for iPhone and iPad worldwide, allowing more folks more direct access to its many crowdfunding efforts.
Here's a quick description of the app's features:
- Custom recommendations - Choose the campaign categories you're most interested in and check in daily to see new and popular projects we think you'll like.
- Campaign tracking - Save your favorite campaigns for easy access and receive a reminder before they end.
- Campaign management - Get notified when your campaign receives new contributors and comments, and post project updates and photos on the spot.
- Contributor engagement - Respond to comments on your campaign page and send 'Thank You' notes, personal texts, and emails right from your phone.
Indiegogo also teased there are at least a couple of Easter eggs in the app, but didn't offer any details. An Android version is in the works as well, if that's for whatever reason your cup of tea. What do you think of the crowdsourcing service offering a dedicated app for iOS device owners?
